Yoshi Eggs Around Pittsburgh
It seems that the Mushroom Kingdom, er Yoshi's Island is invading Pittsburgh. In the northern region near Route 28 and the North Hills Yoshi Eggs have been popping up in all colors and sizes. Either King Koopa is planning on taking over the MLB All-Star game or the city has a graffiti artist w/ a sense of humor on its hands.

Here a few photos of a 10 of the eggs that Jeffy, Adam, Sarah, and I could find yesterday. If you know of anymore please let us know!

...and here is a random picture of Jesus messin' up the mix:

* I apologize that not all of the photos are stellar -- some are along a busy road or are just plain hard to get to.

please high five them for me... I've been seeing these sprout up for MONTHS and I get super psyched when I find a new one. I spotted some tiny, inch high, ones in Oakland last week and jumped up & down.

where are the ones in oakland? i'm down there all of the time, but i don't think i've ever seen them, though i must admit, i am usually barely paying enough attention to keep myself from getting hit crossing the street.

they're all around. small ones that were drawn on stickers (most likely priority mail labels) and cut out and applied to things. look near the PNC on Craig and on the opposite side of Craig closer to Forbes and you'll spot a number

We live in the Pittsburgh area, actually really close to where all of those eggs are, and we were wondering if we could use your photographs for our Yoshi Egg Hunt website we're developing.

The master plan is to find all 100+ eggs, or at least as many as we can. We've tried to get some pictures, but some of the eggs have faded and others have been 'cracked' or what have you. Also, others were just in really hard to photo places, as you mentioned.

So, we were wondering if you would like to team up with us and let us use your pictures, and tell us where exactly you found them (we know where at least half of them are from). Of course we'll credit your journal and such on our website, and all that good jazz.

You can totally use my photographs (if you credit me) and I can help you find the others.

Send me an e-mail: scottauth@gmail.com and we can talk about this.

Have you seen the stickers? I see Yoshi egg stickers EVERYWHERE around Oakland. They are the same exact design only six-inch-or-so stickers so I think I can presume it's the same person. I've seen at least 20 of them in my area, including on a mailbox outside my apartment building and a lightpole outside my school (Schenley).

I also saw two on a car once in a University of Pittsburgh parking lot. I think my friend said he knows the person.
